Getting immigration advice
The Law Centre provides specialist services in immigration and human rights law. We seek to apply the Act in a practical manner, with a view to securing real improvements in people’s day to day lives. Human Rights are about how public bodies protect our basic freedoms, including the right to be safe and protected from harm, the right to be treated fairly and with dignity and the right to autonomy and control over your own life and interactions with society.
We specialise in advocacy and representation and before the First and Upper Tribunals of the Immigration and Asylum Chamber. Where necessary, we can take judicial review and other court proceedings. Where appropriate we take cases to the Court of Appeal and have taken proceedings to the European Court of Human Rights.
In addition to litigation, we have significant experience in dealing with cases of people who have been trafficked to the UK, been victims and physical and sexual violence, children and people who have been tortured and ill treated. We have expertise in dealing with the Points Based System and the application of European law.
If you think that you may have a problem that we could help with and you want to discuss it, please contact the reception of the Coventry Law Centre in person or by telephone on 02476223053 or by email email@example.com and you will be given an appointment. If you need an interpreter please let us know so that we can arrange for one to be present at any interview.
We are able to advise anyone living in Coventry. The Law Centre has held the Legal Aid Agency's Quality Mark at the Specialist Help level for immigration law since March 1999.
